Yes. If your child is currently on the borderline between Foundation and Higher, this course will help secure key Foundation skills like equations, graphs, ratio, and number fluency. It's ideal for building confidence and catching up before Year 11, even if they might later move up to Higher Tier.
No — the GCSE Foundation maths summer course is fully self-paced. Although it’s designed to be completed over 6 weeks, your child can start anytime in July and work through it at their own speed. Resources are released weekly, as we believe it's not ideal to sit and do it all in one go... but there are no 'due dates' or 'assignment deadlines' at all.
The course focuses on core Foundation GCSE maths topics, broken into small, clear steps with video explanations and practice worksheets. It’s designed to reduce the feeling of being overwhelmed and will help students build confidence before Year 11 — especially those aiming for Grade 4 or 5 in their GCSE.
Yes — the Year 11 Ready Foundation course follows the national GCSE curriculum and is aligned with Edexcel, AQA and OCR Foundation Tier specifications. So whether your child is in a state school or home educated, this summer catch-up maths course for GCSE Foundation students will prepare them for success in Year 11.
The programme is designed to be flexible: most students spend 2–3 hours a week watching the video lessons, completing the worksheets and taking the weekly quiz. Because it’s an online Higher Tier maths revision course, your child can log in anytime—perfect for fitting study around holidays while still getting a solid Year 11 Higher Tier maths prep boost.
